    version 0.5 Page 113 Quoting from the book: "The view files generated by Gii have comments at the top of them that indicate the variables that were passed to the view file. For protected/views/site/index.php, that’s: <?php /* @var $this SiteController */ For protected/views/user/create.php, you’ll see: <?php /* @var $this UserController */ /* @var $model User */ " My question: What actual variables are passed? Is SiteController a variable? Is UserController a variable? What exactly does "$model User" mean? Thanks.

    How can I get all the tables to appear when generating models in Chapter 4? (p 71, version 0.5) When I click the Preview button, the Model Generator shows just one table. In contrast, the book shows 5 tables. How can I get all 5 tables to appear in the Model Generator list? More info: When I open the database in the MyPhpAdmin Designer view, I can see all 5 tables -- and their relationships -- so I know they exist. (I can also see 3 other tables, all starting with "auth".) My yiicdemo files are here: D:\xampp\htdocs\yiicdemo My framework folder is here: D:\xampp\framework The Code Template dropdown shows this: default (D:\xampp\framework\gii\generators\model\templates\default) The Code File list shows only one table: models\TblUser.php Thanks.

    Hi all I am new to yii. i created my first app in yii. when i try to login in gii it is not opening. i am able to get the login page of gii after giving the password it ia redirect to the same login page help me. Thanks in advance
