HartleySan
Larry, as you already know, I have prepurchased you JS book, and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. In the meantime though, is there anyway I can get a digital preview of the book? I'm really itching to read it.
Jason
Try google: http://books.google.com.au/books/about/Modern_JavaScript.html?id=oJ_biogDzkEC Scroll down to the contents section, not sure how many pages are available but it's a start

Josee
You can get the first chapter from Amazon as a Kindle version that can be read in the Kindle application (a free application that can be used on iPhones, iPads, Macintosh and computers using Windows). sonal
Safari books online has following link to preview. Seems like only first paras are shown on most of the pages. But clicking on Chapter 1 link from left sidebar shows good content. I have also ordered the book, and waiting eagerly. oh, well, this link seems to be broken. I have bookmarked it in my browser, so I can see it. But seems like pasting it here does not work. However it was there on Safari books preview, few weeks back. (I would like to delete my post, but can't undo now). Sorry....
