Sorting Multidimensional Arrays: How Does It Work?

Hi all,

I have been studying the above subject at the very beginning of Larry's book. At first I just didn't get it and couldn't understand how it would work. I've found the attached question and answer that was clear enough even for me to understand. If you're interested in knowing what actually happens with the sort then take a look.
