nick
I was wondering if anyone might know how I would be able to allow a user the ability to add youtube video links to their site like a video blog for subscribers. My 2nd question is where did larry place the instructions for Paypal for the second example. I thought that I saw him give an explanation of how to do the 2nd example with Paypal at some point. Thanks for all your help in advance Nick
Larry
As for YouTube, it's just some HTML to embed the link. I wouldn't think there's anything special about that. I don't remember doing instructions for the second example with PayPal, but my memory's pretty bad for stuff like that. If I did, I hopefully would have tagged it using "ecom" (my tag for the book): http://larryullman.com/tag/ecom
HartleySan
YouTube videos are easy to embed into another site. As of the writing of this post, click the Share button under a YouTube video and then click the Embed button to get the necessary HTML markup for adding it to another site. You can also easily customize the appearance as well via YouTube. Also, Larry does not use PayPal for the second example in the book, he uses a direct payment method via Authorize.net.
