[Solved] Chapter 08 - Github Concise.min.css Not Functional

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Chapter 8 makes a website template and I think the concise.min.css on the Github code is messed up (it's all on one line, no spacing). For those struggling with the layout, here may be the solution. The header.html, index.php, and footer.html were not showing up correctly in my browser (but still functional). The way I solved this was replace:

  <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="css/concise.min.css" />
with
  <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="https://cdn.concisecss.com/concise.min.css" />

Thanks for sharing what you learned! I really appreciate it. Just to be clear, the code is not "messed up", it's minimized, which is what the "min" in the name means. Browsers can read the code as one line just fine.

I imagine the problem was with your path: where you put the CSS file and the HTML value you used. However, using the hosted (CDN) version works, too!

Thanks again!
