tkhara 0
Hi Larry, I just got your PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Websites: Visual QuickPro Guide and am enjoying learning from it. Could you please recommend a good book for HTML and CSS. I want to have a good learning guide and reference to help me put together basic sites. Hopefully, this book can include examples that will help me practice and internalize some common site elements and structures. If anyone else on the forums has good recommendations, please feel free to give those as well. Thanks.
Larry 428
I learned HTML originally from http://www.peachpit.com/store/html-and-css-visual-quickstart-guide-9780321928832 but it's 5 years old now, so that's probably not the best choice. Maybe someone else has other recommendations?
sam 0
Too late to help OP - sorry, I've only recently joined the forum - but in case it's of use to others, I've found LEARNING WEB DESIGN by Jennifer Niederst Robbins (O'Reilly, now in its 5th edition) to be an excellent book. Very thorough introduction. The sort of book you can read and keep as a reference.
