Larry I was wondering why you didn't wrote this book using PHP OOP?

I know, from my little experience, that, for security reasons, a php oop eCommerce website is better than php procedural.

Also it can be easier to modify, add, update, delete any page.

Yeah, there's a pretty big assumption there that OOP is better from a security and management perspective. OOP *may* be better than procedural, but it may be worse. It really depends upon how good the developer is at OOP or procedural.

I do explain in the book my thoughts, but the short answer is that while a competent OOP developer can easily turn procedural code into OOP, if I wrote the book using OOP, I'd loose most of the procedural developers that aren't comfortable with OOP.
