"Unexpected End Of File" In Handle_Form.Php

Recommended Posts

When I submit a form (chapter 3) using feedback.html and handle_form.php to process the feedback, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in J:\xampp\htdocs\PHP\handle_form.php on line 27

Other PHP scripts work ok. There are 26 lines in my file. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for you help.

Mike

Script below:

</head>

<body>

<?php

$title = $_POST['title'];

$name = $_POST['name'];

$response = $_POST['response'];

// $email = $_POST['email'];

// $submit = $_POST['submit'];

print "<p>Thank you, $title $name, for you comments.</p>

<p>You stated that you found this expample to be '$response' and added:<br />$comments</p>;

?>

For future posts make sure you put code between [ code ] tags (highlight code and press the < > button above the text box).

Get yourself a text editor/IDE with syntax highlighting, it helps with spotting syntax errors.

You're missing a closing " (double quotation mark) at the end of the string after your print statement.
