Jonathon
Hi Larry, i've noticed a few times that in Chrome if I copy anything like a block of formatted code <p>Some Fomatted</p> <?php $obj = new Something(); ?> That when you paste it back into the forum, it picks up all the color styling and goes a bit mental. Is this just a browser quirk or is there anyway to fix that? Other than pasting it into a text editor and then copying that back into the forum post. Thanks Jonathon
Larry
Hey Jonathon, I've noticed that, too. I don't know if there's a workaround, aside from going through a text editor or, if your browser has it, using "Paste and Match Style". But I'm not sure there's anything in the editor itself as a solution.
Jonathon
I don't think it does. It isn't anything big really, I was just wondering, i copied a load of code the other day from a formatted post and reposted it with edits and it went all to pot so I thought I'd ask. Thanks Larry :-)
Antonio Conte
Use "Paste as plain text" in the editor. The Icon is located to the far right, left to the word pasting button.
Jonathon
I'm just pasting directly from the post not the editor. But thanks though :-)
