Hi all, After changing the root user password using phpMyAdmin, I cannot connect to mySQL using MAMP. I did what the instruction on the installation appendix told me by going to the config.inc.php file and changing $cfg['Servers'][$1]['password'] = 'my_new_password'; . Yet, I cannot connect to mySQL. I tried using connecting through terminal, and it cannot connect either. I have been stuck on this problem for a long time. PLEASE help.
