When I tested register.php and forgot_password.php, I got the following error message: An error occurred in script 'C:\Program Files\wamp\www\html\forgot_password.php' on line 43: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() Date/Time: 9-5-2012 14:04:39 Evidently there is a problem with emailing myself. I do not understand the message or how to fix the problem and would appreciate some assistance. I am using wampserver version 2.2, MySQL Version 5.5.16, PHP version 5.3.8. Thank you! Anne

Wish it were that easy. When I added the first letters in the uploads folder, it worked. I am just going to chalk it up to my old and cranky laptop which is about to be replaced. Thanks for your reply. Anne

Whew! Got through chapter 11 and everything works, but there's a quirk. The first letters of the links are missing (although the images pop up when clicked!). Like so: nne best.jpg orey emily.jpg Should be anne best.jpg and corey emily.jpg. I used the downloaded code and did not change a thing. Am using wampserver, Mysql 2.2, PHP 5.3.8 Any explanations? Great book; learning a lot; working hard! Anne
