ReaverKS
So, here's my background, I started about a month ago with HTML and CSS, finished two books and watched quite a few video's online, I'm feeling pretty good about both. I'd like to move onto something a bit more complicated, I'd absolutely like to learn how to create my own e-commerce and I was planning on learning PHP and MySQL anyways, would you recommend this as a good starter book for someone who has never touched php or mysql, or should I have some basic knowledge first. Thanks for your reply, Kevin
Edward
The best book to start on would be PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Websites 4th Edition, there is no other book better on the market. I had Effortless Ecommerce before i had this book and there were too many things i was unsure of, i am just coming to the end of the 4th Edition book and soon will be ready for the Effortless Ecommerce after i practiced with my own basic site using the stuff i learned. Larry
Edward is spot on. This book assumes complete comfort with the basics of PHP and MySQL. Thanks for the interest in my books!
