View_Pdf.php Printing Garbage

For some reason when I select a pdf to view it comes up all garbage...i'd paste what comes up but for some strange reason I can't paste the jibberish here...I even tried using Larry's script and it came up with garbage...has anyone had an issue with this???..Thanks...Tom

Seems like you are outputting something before you serve the pdf. Because of that, the headers for the PDF file doesn't get taken into account. Remove any echo statements before serving the pdf, and all should be good.

Thank-you for the reply...I reviewed the code and I do not output any echo...hmmmmm....do u have another possible solution???...Thanks

Possibly an PHP error/warning? Try setting PHP error_reporting to off and set display_errors to false.

Hi Antonio:

I did what you suggested and it worked when I use Mozilla Firefox...but it does not work using IE and I have Windows 8.1 installed...lol.

Any ideas why it does not work on IE????...thanks for all your help

On the more serious side, that sounds more like an header issue. I know IE can be a bit weird about headers, so that is nothing new.
